Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

I hope everyone is enjoying their winter break and had a peaceful Christmas. It was nice to get away last week with family to a warmer area and enjoy relaxing with the family. Now that our boys are adults and living independently it is a joy to spend time with them relaxing and catching up! I am back in the office today refreshed and renewed for another few months. While the weather on vacation was great, today although cooler, is still a beautiful sunny day.

Buildings are being thoroughly cleaned and readied for the second half of the school year and will be ready for the return of students next Tuesday, January 3rd. As you see in the picture, progress is being made on the new bus parking lot and which should be completed by the end of this week. We hope to move the buses into their new area as we return from the break period.

I hope everyone enjoys another week of relaxation and has a very happy and safe New Year's celebration. Happy New Year 2012!

Winter Break Begins

Winter break begins with the close of school today. Classes will resume on Tuesday, January 3. 2012. During this period buildings will be open daily from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm with the exception of January 26th and January 2nd. While school is closed our custodians will be working hard to clean buildings and ready them for the return of students in two weeks. We hope that the new bus parking area will be completed next week so we may begin to use it when we return. I hope that everyone has a restful vacation!

Christmas is the season for kindling the fire of hospitality in the hall, the genial flame of charity in the heart. ~Washington Irving
