School is Just Around the Corner

Summer has flown quickly this year. It is hard to believe that Registration Day is already here and soon we will hear the patter of feet and excited voices as children return to their classrooms. Custodians and administrators have worked hard this summer to prepare for the return of our students. Buildings have been thoroughly cleaned for the start of the new school year. Teachers have been receiving training in the use of Mimio Boards which we hope to add to all classrooms over the next couple of years.

It will be good to return to the normal rhythm of life at school in a couple of weeks. Most of us thrive on the constant beat of students learning and renewed life about the buildings. Remember the following important dates:

August 12, 2009, 7:00 am to 1:00 pm @ Prairieview
Late Registration, August 18, 2009, 8:00 am to noon @ Prairieview
Teacher Institute, August 20-21, 2009
District Open House, Monday, August 24, 2009
First Day of Classes, Tuesday, August 25, 2009
